Silent Retreat for Beginners 2020–Postponed

I was asked to give a message on Mother’s Day at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, May 10th. The silent retreat will be postponed until later (I’m thinking Memorial weekend or in June). You are all invited to attend the meditation and message for FREE! Please click here for a flyer. https://pathwaysofconsciousness.com/events/

Have you ever wanted to go on a Silent Retreat, but aren’t sure if it is for you? Does the idea of not talking for 24 hours or more sound impossible (if not frightening)! Then this is the silent retreat you have been waiting for.

Pathways of Consciousness owns 42 private acres in Juniper Woods Ranch, off of I-40 just North of Ashfork and West of Williams, Arizona. This land holds pristine energy of Gia–Mother Earth, and has been blessed by the Ancestors. There is no light pollution, no visible neighbors, and no accommodations. Peeking Creek (dry during the summer months) runs through the middle of the property in a canyon, nestled in the heart of old-growth Juniper trees (“The Standing Ones” as our ancestors called them).

How the Days Will Unfold…

A ceremony thanking Gia–Mother Earth will commence on Saturday, May 9th. Followed by guided meditations and an introduction to the Lemurian Teaching Wheel, for those that wish. During the day on Saturday there will be time for silence, reflection, hiking, nature watching, rest, relaxation, and enjoying the peace and quiet. At dusk on Saturday, those that wish may congregate around the fire (if no fire restrictions or wind advisory) for conversation. Sunday morning we will have another guided meditation at dawn and a closing ceremony. Participants may leave when they wish (or when the host leaves).

There are NO ACCOMMODATIONS. You must bring your own camping supplies including shelter and food. Water, TP, and simple medical provisions will be provided. We do get cell phone coverage and are easily accessible from the freeway for emergencies. The nearest medical center is 18 miles away in Williams. The nearest hospital is 50 miles away in Flagstaff. Camping is at your own risk.
